A Pinch of Salt...

The powerful little grain.....

A glimpse from our bookshelf..
A collection of old favourites from the Sub-continent among folk-art from Bengal: Shivaji, Nehru, Vivekananda, Tagore, Gandhi and Subhas Chandra Bose.

Salt Fields on the way from Madras/ Chennai to Pondicherry/ Puducherry

  1. Love your bookshelf and I am floored at how you have it clutter free. Mine has books, books and more books that threaten to fall off their shelves. Also I have seen the salt mounds so long ago near Tuticorin, these pictures are amazing.

  2. Thankyou Lata! Wish I could see your bookshelf! This is part of a display case, technically not a bookshelf hence the attempt at a clutter-free space. This was my first view of a salt field... on some parts they appeared in pink hues too.
