Black and White Wednesday: Fish and Chips, Pub Food.

Mashed Potatoes, Green Peas and Gravy at the Bag O Nails Pub.

The Big Bus Tour on the Red London Double Decker's were delightful. This is one favourite icon from London and one which kept reminding me of Clifford the Big Red Dog! :-D!
We hopped off at Westminster Abbey and walked to Buckingham Palace. A very helpful policewoman saw us poring over our maps  and  pointed us towards the Bag O Nails. Happy to be out of the windy cold day.

    Very nice pictures. But I must confess I was disappointed with the fish and chips that was served. It is pretty greasy and I guess it just did not match up to the image that I had of this famed dish. Still have to try the strawberries and cream. Even if it is not in Wimbledon!!

    Thankyou Magda! Am totally clueless Lakshmi about that Hindi movie; I wanted more spicing in the food but the location was perfect and near to our bus stop. Manju ! I have been trying to 'hide' for a long time! Let me see...:-)
