ReplyDeleteRegarding the Toor idli- For frementation we add baking soda and keep that for 8 hours.
and Depending on your idli mould or length of glass you pour the batter(I add 3/4 glass full of batter)It won't reduce alike urad dal idli.

I know Chitra... and the flavour of these farm fresh strawberries are so different from the store-bought varieties which feel more 'airy' and not as flavourful or sweet. I beleive they are hybrids that are meant to endure the rigours of shipping and shelf-life!
