Garlic Chicken Pizza

So half of the dough went in creating the Pizza with tomato base... this is the experimental one.
Trying to re-create the Creamy Garlic Pizza with the thin crust, without using either cream or parmesan cheese!!!
Divided the dough again and rolled it into a thinner version.
Tossed about 3 tbsps of finely chopped red onions in 1 tsp of olive oil, 1/2 tsp of dried basil, 1/4 tsp of garlic powder and 1/4 tsp of red chilli flakes and a dash of salt. Grilled one chicken breast marinated with salt, red chilli flakes, garlic powder and lime juice  in the forgetful pal's gift= the George Foreman Grill! Used only about 1/4 Cup of chicken cubes.
Drizzled olive oil over the pizza dough, layered chicken, then onions and sprinkled with mozarella cheese.
Baked in 450 F oven for about 15 minutes
Felt could have rolled the dough a bit thinner and it came out light and fresh..almost like a foccacia with topping!
Creamy Garlic Chicken Experiment for another day!
Dinner tonight:  A Slice or two of this pizza, fruits and coffee/cocoa.

  1. Thanks Anu! I felt that it needed a more generous hand with olive oil as base with perhaps garlic powder and a dash of salt.
