Snowed In: Perfect for home-made Pizza!

Shovelling snow and working in the kitchen  thruoughout the day, called for a couple of simple recipes for a late evening snack and an early supper!
Tools
The new Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer!
George Foreman Grill donated by the forgetful pal...:-)
Ingredients
This recipe was done strictly with the ingredients in the pantry; the snow made it sure that one would not run out for Parmesan and parsley!
Pizza dough using the crusty pizza dough recipe provided in the Instructions booklet.
Simple Cheese Pizza with onions

Ingredients
Onions Sliced lenthwise with the edges holding together at the end: 6-7slices!
1/2 cup of home-made or fresh pizza sauce [organic pasta sauce used here = tomatoes and basil]
1/2 tsp of garlic powder or 2 cloves fresh minced garlic
1/4 tsp of Red Chilli flakes or more according to your taste
2 green chillies cut in slants! :-)
1/2 tsp dried Basil
3/4 Cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese
2 tbsps of Cornmeal
Olive Oil for greasing the cookie sheet
Method
Heat Oven to 450 F
Grease a Heavy bottomed cookie sheet and sprinkle on the cookie sheet
Place rolled out pizza dough on the sheet
Prick with a fork all over!
Spread the Pasta Sauce/Pizza Sauce on the base
Mix in the garlic powder or minced garlic
Layer the Onions
Sprinkle the dried Basil
Spread the grated Mozzarella Cheese
Bake in the 450 F oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges turn golden brown. Garnish with dried basil and serve.
Felt that the onions with the edges holding together were a little messy while eating individual slices!!!
