The lovely Geneva at Undress Me With Your Fork was my penpal for the Foodie Penpals event created by Lindsay at The Lean Green Bean. I had a chance to pack something special for Amanda of MarocMama.
Geneva wrote to me and and she sent me this lovely box of goodies, representing her state of Maine. I had mentioned about our plans (more than a decade now!) of travelling up and down the east coast. One of our early memories of knowing the American continent was through literature, books and stories- tinged with the briny air of the Atlantic. Last month, I had lovely Jenn of Rook No. 17 sending me the Flavours of California. The pleasure of posting my first package was to Amanda of Manda Kay Makes It.

This box brought in beautiful colours of the sea and the fall together! I have still kept all the goodies inside the box, taking it out now and then, wrapping it back again! :-D!
I was hoping that there would be maple syrup and it came in a gorgeous bottle!
We used the Onion Dill Dip powder. Spiced it up with some small hot green chillies and it went well with a favourite Chilli Corn Muffins for our Sunday brunch! All the colours of Fall: Pure Maine Maple Syrup, Asian Pomegranate Dressing from the WaldoStone Farm, brown ginger mustard, handcrafted coffee-Casco Bay blend, a beautiful snapshot of Popham Beach and a lovely 'lobster' spreader. How did she manage to pack so many goodies? :-).
