Ingredients
Boiled Kabuli Channa/ Chickpeas/ Garbanzo Beans: 1 bowl/ or little more than a cup

Red Chilli powder- 1/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder- a little less than a 1/4 tsp
Split Urad Dal : 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli-1
Pinch of Asafoetida
Salt
Finely chopped onions- 2 tbsps
Curry Leaves-1 stem/ or chopped fresh coriander
Lime wedges.
Method
Do a tempering of mustard seeds, urad dal seeds with red chilli and curry leaves. Saute the chopped onions until soft, Add the turmeric and chilli powders. Add the Boiled Channa with just a little water, about a tbsp or so. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes. Add a pinch of asafoetida, and take off the stove. Garnish with fresh chopped corainder or green chillies and a dash of lime juice.
